In this Video you can see that Dr Ashish Gilhotra founder of Naadi Yoga is stimulating Vegus Nerve. This vagus nerve is also known as the pneumogastric nerve, it is the tenth cranial nerve or CN X, and interfaces with parasympathetic control of the heart, lungs, and digestive tract. It is the longest nerve of the autonomic nervous system in the human body. The vagus nerve also has a sympathetic function via the peripheral chemoreceptors. The vagus nerve supplies motor parasympathetic fibres to all the organs (except the adrenal glands), from the neck down to the second segment of the transverse colon. This means that the vagus nerve is responsible for varied tasks as heart rate, gastrointestinal peristalsis, sweating, and quite a few muscle movements in the mouth, including speech (via the recurrent laryngeal nerve)..
Therefore .. when stimulating Vegas nerve in certain way helps to control heart and many organs all at the same time- there for controlling High blood pressure..

Welcome to the World of Naadi Yoga where you get 100% Natural Cure. Naadi Yoga is one of the alternative medicine.Fully dependent on Scientific phenomenons. Naadi Yoga treats the person as a whole rather than treading an illness of the patient in isolation. God has made the human body & kept all necessary requirement of the body in itself. It also highly depends upon faith and regularity of the patients.
Nadis, like nerves and tendons, are not visible to the naked eye. They are subtle energy lines running throughout the entire body. There are thousands of Nadis in the body, however, only three play a particularly important role: sushumna, ida, and pingala.
Sushumna is the central channel and corresponds to the physical spinal column. Ida and pingala start in the base of the column. Ida is associated with the left side and finishes at the left nostril. Pingala is associated with the right side and finishes at the right nostril. Normally the energy flows in both sides alternately. The goal of many paranayama practices is to allow the pranic energy to go upwards through sushumna, which provides a higher state of consciousness
Our body contains 72,000 Naadis that channel oxygen to every cell. Some are wide and rushing; others are a minute in nature. When this system flows freely, we are active and healthy; when it becomes weak or congested, we struggle with poor mental and physical health.
